Do you know why they cannot integrate it into 8.0?
I would think that the automation technology is already there in OO, so you need some kind of connector to open the standard client on OO COM object instantiation, but the scripting features already exist and would be enough for great showcases.
Or does IBM want to create their own COM object hierarchy?
